Hello everybody.
Its quite a while since I have been on here. I have been away and spent 2 weeks with my lovely sister in Kent.
I have made a few cards which I will put on later in the week.

Thursday 14 July 2011

Hi everyone.

What a sad week. I am devistated to hear of LizG's death. I send my love to all of her family. This is the card I have made for Liz and her family.

I will be listing some more cards later. I have been busy making some charity cards.
I am driving down to Kent from Lancashire next wednesday to spend a couple of weeks with my sister. I am so looking forward to seeing her and her husband and all my other family that live in the area. Just sad that I have to leave my 2 dogs here but they will be in my daughter in laws very capable hands. My sister has 3 dogs so five dogs in a house will be a bit much I think.!!!

What a Lovely Sunny Day.

Hello everybody.
I have just watched the Ladies Single Final on T.V.
I wish I had been there.
I am going to upload 2 cards today. 1 For my Brother in Laws Ordination as a priest. I am so proud of him. He is doing now he is in retirement, what he has wanted to do for ages. My sister is wonderful in supporting him. The print was taken from Joanna Sheens Heavenly Moments cd.
I layered this onto a piece of paper run through a embossing folder and mounted onto a Craftworks plain white card. The message was typed out on my computer as was the message inside of the card.
This is the inside of the card. Just a simple message.
This is the back of the card.

This card was made by using Joanna Sheens American Frontier cd for papers and image.. It was made as a spare card to have in case I need a mans card in a hurry. I decided on an easel card as the men seem to like them. I put
some velvet wool and a rubber button on the front. The wool was supposed to go with the lassoo in the picture. Did it work? I am not sure.

THE WEDDING.

Today I am looking forward to celebrating the Royal Wedding.

Wednesday 27 April 2011

Another lovely warm day.

Hello everybody. I have uploaded several cards to my Gallery this week. I made some bookmark cards for the first time and I felt pleased with them. I used the fabulous Linda Ravenscroft artwork from the card creations cd.rom. The images have a star sign on them. I carried through the design from the front on both cards to the back.
I also made a flowered Easter card for my neighbour. The print was taken from a Joanna Sheen cd as was the papers. I wanted this card to be simple. I added a plain silver cross and 2 false brads in pail blue. Again the design was taken through to the middle and back of the card.
The second Easter one was for my precious Grandson who has severe Autism. He loves going in my car and so I thought a Messy Rabbit card was ideal with Messy in his car. This was taken from Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit Papercraft cd. rom.

April Friendship Swap.

I really enjoy this swap. I have received some lovely cards over the months.
The image and background paper for this months card were taken from a Joanna Sheen cd rom. Beautiful Ladies. I mat and layered onto a square card. I chose black for one of the layers and also cut a strip of the same card to make a ribbon. I decoupaged some of the ladies from the paper and added them on as a extra embellishment. I carried the colour schene through to the inside and back of the card.

Easter Weekend.

I always enjoy the Easter holidays. I think its because you know that winter has truly gone. Apart fron a heavy thunderstorm on Friday we have had beautiful weather. I have made several cards.

Sunday 17 April 2011

Today its been a beautiful day. I have sat with windows open and made 2 new cards.

The first card from the Messy Rabbit cd rom. I love these because they are so adaptable. I used all the items from the c.d and printed it onto Super silk paper and layered on card and paper. I made a easel card and rolled up some matching paper to put on to prevent the card slipping. I put coordinating papers all through the card. To finish I put 2 butterfies from a small Martha Stewart Punch.I hope you like it.

The other card I made was for my Friendship Swap which I will put details on here when it has been received.
